Dr. Dobb's Opens Nominations for
the 19th Annual Jolt Product Excellence Awards
Prestigious Industry Awards Honor the Top Software Development Products of 2008
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ — Dr. Dobb's today announced that nominations for the 19th Annual Jolt Product Excellence Awards are now open. Each year, the Jolt Product Excellence Awards, presented by Dr. Dobb's, honors the new products, books and technologies that have "jolted" the industry with their significance. Finalists will be announced in December and the Jolt Award winners will be announced on March 11, 2009 at a gala ceremony during the 22nd annual Software Development Conference & Expo West held at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
Last year more than 350 nominations for books, tools, and technologies were submitted for the coveted trophy.
